Saturn's Rings

(K.Waters)

There's a girl who's a memory lost in time
From a world where good weather was wasted
Knows she could never be of this time
For she's from way back when

Where we dreamed of a day without death to find
That we'd drowned in the honey we tasted
Stole from ourselves as we robbed men blind
That we from way back then

And the world would turn by her design
If her heart was not some fashion line
On her fingers she'd wear Saturn's rings
It's only time that can take from us these things

Of the loaves and the fishes we'd been denied
While the walls of the prison yard waited
Left the dogs licking dishes laying down outside
And she walked right on in
